This side dish is served as a National Czech food with dumplings and pork. It is quite laborious, especially because it is a just side dish, but it is very tasty and healthy. You can mix it with pasta and some smoked sausage and it is a tasty main dish. It can be also served with Czech dumplings or just potatoes and some meat.

2 Tbs butter
1 chopped onion
1 large peeled grated raw potato
1 tsp vinegar to taste
1 tsp salt to taste
